Keys and parts

With the front of the phone facing you, on the top edge is, from left to right, the micro-USB connector, the headset connector, and the lock key. On the right edge are, from top to bottom, the combined volume and zoom keys and the camera key. On the front of the phone is the touch screen. Above the screen is the earpiece, and at the top left corner is the proximity sensor. Below the screen is, from left to right, the call key, the menu key, and the combined end and power key. At the bottom is the microphone. With the back of the phone facing you, at the top is the camera. Below that is the NFC area.
  • 1 — Micro-USB/Charger connector

  • 2 — Headset connector (Nokia AV connector 3.5 mm)

  • 3 — Lock key

  • 4 — Earpiece

  • 5 — Menu key

  • 6 — End/Power key

  • 7 — Microphone

  • 8 — Call key

  • 9 — Touch screen

  • 10 — Proximity sensor. Automatically switches the touch screen off during calls.

  • 11 — Volume/Zoom keys

  • 12 — Camera key

  • 13 — Lanyard/Wrist strap hole

If there is protective tape on the camera lens, remove the tape.
