About File manager
Select Menu > Office > File mgr. .
With File manager, you can browse, manage, and open files on your device.

View the files stored on your device
Select Menu > Office > File mgr. and the desired memory.
The folders on the root of the memory are displayed.

Organise files
You can create new folders, to help organise your files. This can make it easier to back up or upload your content. Within folders, you can copy, move, or delete files and subfolders.
Select Menu > Office > File mgr. .
In the folder where you want to create a subfolder, select Options > New folder .
Select and hold the file, and from the pop-up menu, select the appropriate option.
Select and hold the file, and from the pop-up menu, select the appropriate option.
To copy, move, or delete several files at the same time, select Options > Mark multiple items .

Back up files
Want to make sure that you will not lose any important files? You can back up the device memory to a compatible computer.

Open Nokia Ovi Suite on your PC.

Connect your device to your PC using Nokia Ovi Suite mode.

In Ovi Suite, select Tools > Backup.
It is recommended that you back up the device memory regularly to a compatible computer.
If you have DRM-protected content, use Nokia Ovi Suite to back up both the licences and the content to your computer.

Format the mass memory
Want to delete all content from your device mass memory? When you format the mass memory, all the data on it is deleted.
Back up all data you want to keep before formatting the mass memory. All data is permanently deleted.

Select Menu > Office > File mgr. .

Select and hold the mass memory, and from the pop-up menu, select Format.
Do not format the mass memory using PC software, because it may cause degraded performance.
You can use Nokia Ovi Suite to back up data to a compatible computer. Digital rights management (DRM) technologies may prevent some backup data from being restored. For more information about DRM used for your content, contact your service provider.
