Insert the SIM card

Your phone uses a micro-SIM card, also known as a mini-UICC card.

Do not attach any stickers to the SIM card.

  1. You must first open the cover of the micro-USB connector. Press the left end of the cover, then carefully pull the cover away from the phone.

    With the front of the phone facing you, from left to right on the top edge, the micro-USB connector is the second item and the SIM holder is the third item.
    Carefully pull the cover from the edge that is closer to the right edge of the phone.

  2. To unlock the card holder, slide the holder to the left. Carefully pull out the holder.

  3. Make sure the contact area is facing up, then put the SIM card into the holder.

    Slide the end with the missing corner in first. Make sure that when the card holder would be inserted back into the phone, the missing corner would be closer to the top left corner of the phone.

  4. Put the card holder back into the phone, then press and slide the holder to the right.

  5. Close the cover of the micro-USB connector.

Remove the SIM

  1. Switch the phone off.

  2. Open the cover of the micro-USB connector.

  3. Unlock the SIM card holder, then carefully pull out the holder.

  4. Pull the SIM card out of the holder.
