HTML email can be viewed on Nokia S60 5th Edition and S60 3rd Edition (except S60 3.0). If HTML email is not displayed by default, look for a View HTML or Show images link in the header of the email or in the Options menu. In some email clients, you can set HTML-related preferences in the email client settings. HTML-formatted emails use more data than plain text emails. Please be aware that you may incur charges from your operator in connection with the transfer and receipt of data to your mobile phone.
Transfer my Data transfers your personal data such as contacts, text messages (SMS) and pictures over Bluetooth.
Transfer my Data 4.x also supports transferring contacts with an SD card if the contacts were saved on the card in a compatible format and your phone has an SD card slot.
You can transfer your contacts, calendar entries, to-dos, pictures, videos, music, and office documents to your new phone. Some content, such as text and multimedia messages, or DRM protected music, you can back up on your computer. Some data you cannot transfer to your new phone.
These instructions may not apply to all phone models and manufacturers.
There may be third-party computer apps available, such as Welcome Home to Windows Phone, that transfer data from your old phone to your new phone.
Contacts
You can transfer your contacts from your old phone easily using the Transfer my Data app on your new phone. If you don't have this app, you can download it from Store.
If you have previously had a micro-SIM or micro-RUIM card, you can also copy your contacts from your card to your new phone.
Calendar
If your contacts and calendar are stored online as part of an online service, such as Google Account or Microsoft Exchange, set up that account on your phone, and your contacts and calendar entries are imported automatically.

Media files
To transfer your media files, connect your phone to your computer with a compatible USB cable, and drag and drop the items you want to transfer.
You can also use the Windows Phone app, which is a free app for PC and Apple Mac. To download and install the latest version on your PC, go to www.windowsphone.com. If you're using an Apple Mac, download the Windows Phone app from Mac App Store.

Office documents
To transfer your office documents, connect your phone to your computer with a compatible USB cable, and drag and drop the items you want to transfer, or use SkyDrive cloud storage.

Other content on your old phone
You can use the appropriate software to store your text and multimedia messages, notes, browser bookmarks, and DRM protected music and videos and their licenses on your computer.
You cannot transfer settings from your old phone to your new phone. For more info about configuring the settings in your new phone, see the user guide of your phone.
The Nokia Multimedia Transfer is an application for your Mac computer which enables you to transfer pictures, videos, podcasts, music, applications, games, and files between your Nokia compatible phone and Mac.
To install Nokia Multimedia Transfer to your Mac, go to your local Nokia website, and navigate to Support > your phone model > Downloads.
You can connect your Nokia phone to your Mac, either via Bluetooth or USB cable.
To manage and transfer your music collection from your computer to your phone you need to download the Zune PC Software or the Windows Phone App (Mac OS) application.
The Zune application is a program for your PC that lets you sync music, videos, and pictures between your computer and your phone. It also lets you install the latest software updates for your phone.
If you have a Mac, you can use Windows Phone App to sync multimedia files between your phone and your computer.

You need a Windows Live ID (also called Microsoft account) to use Upload to SkyDrive. If you don’t have one yet, you can create it when you start using the Upload to SkyDrive app.
1. Start Upload to SkyDrive app from the main menu.
2. Tap Sign in.
3. Sign in with your Windows Live ID and password. If you don’t have a Windows Live account yet, select Sign up, and follow the instructions shown on the phone.
4. Select the types of data you want to transfer: Contacts or Photos.
5. Tap Continue.
6. By default, your data is uploaded automatically, and the size of your photos is downscaled before the upload. If you want to change the default settings, tap Settings.
For Automatic upload, select:
On - to use any connection when uploading. If a Wi-Fi connection is not available, the cost of the upload depends on your data plan, and you are asked for confirmation. Automatic upload starts 5 minutes after you have added or modified your stuff.
On, via Wi-Fi only - to allow uploads only when a Wi-Fi connection is available.
Off - to not allow automatic uploads.
Actual size or Downscaled - for photo quality.
7. When you are done, press the back key on your phone.
8. If you have enabled automatic uploads, the upload starts automatically after a moment. Otherwise, to start the upload manually, tap Upload.
If you need to stop the upload, tap Cancel. To hide the SkyDrive app, tap Hide. To reopen the app, swipe down from notification area, and tap the upload progress. If your phone does not have the status menu, reopen the app from the main menu.
You may be asked for permission to connect to internet if the option for saving of location information with your photos is turned on. If there's not yet a GPS connection established and the phone uses Assisted GPS (A-GPS) mode to fetch the satellite info, internet connection may be needed to transfer a small amount of data.
