Nokia Lumia phones with Windows Phone 8

On Nokia Lumia phones with Windows Phone 8 you get turn-by-turn instructions for walking parts of your journey by tapping the walking part and selecting start navigation. Nokia Maps will then be launched with walk navigation instructions to the next stop of your journey.

Note that you need to have Nokia Maps v3.0 (or later) installed in your phone. If you have an older Maps version installed, go to Store and update to the latest version. You will be prompted to update Nokia Maps also when trying to launch the navigation from Nokia Transport.

Nokia Lumia phones with Windows Phone 7

On Nokia Lumia phones with Windows Phone 7 you get the walking instructions for your public transport route in the following way:

• Tap the desired journey to see the journey details.
• Tap the walking part of the journey.
  
• The route is now shown on the map. To view detailed walking instructions, scroll down and select get directions.
  
• To return back from the map view, tap the Back key.
