Review and ratings for the Nokia Lumia 800

Nokia Lumia 800
Nokia Lumia 800 3.6 5 173 173
A good product but with major flaws I like this phone for the fast OS & great design. Like the Facebook integration with every contacts. However there are some things which i dint like it 1. Serious battery concern, not even day i get battery backup 2. No Bluetooth file transfers. Thats the common thing every one wants & all the phones has it but not Lumia. 3. No USB mass storage, all you have to do is transfer through Zune & that too only music, videos & photos thats it, cant transfer anything else. 4. Nokia drive is not as same as the one running in Symbian devices, this is old Nokia drive when it came first time. - I do not have option to get the saved maps from the previous symbian phone (Nokia C7). - There is no option to go to the desired location on the map & select 'drive to' as we had in previous symbian phones. - I need to jus go to 'set destination' & type the address of my destination which is not at all possible to get the exact location i want to go, it was so much easier in the symbian phones the nokia drive - If i do get my desired location (only 1 out of 10 you get it) then there is no way i can save that location (like favourites) for future use. - Nokia drive does not run offline, which is big drawback as all other Nokia phones runs it offline. 5. All apps which are useful for day to day life is not free, we need shell out a minimum of 100 rs to 200 rs for good apps. Most of the apps are not free, when Symbian market (Nokia store) gives it free for other Nokia phones. If these issues are not sorted at the earliest Nokia will lose the fans which i think is already losing day by day. 28 January, 2012
Good but lot of bugs The design is excellent. Microsoft OS is ecxellent. But the bugs due to nokia is annoying. Battery issue, wifi issue ect. I bought this phone because i am a hardcore windows fan. I am using windows mobile right from Windows CE 3.0 SE. I love the OS and the design. If nokia can fix all the bugs this product would be excellent. Even with the battery issue i get it for a day with wifi, data, msg, music usage. Nokia pls fix the bugs soon.... 16 January, 2012
Windows Phone but DUMB A great operating system like Windows should have made Lumia 800 a better phone than other Nokia Symbian phones but sadly its not. The company has paid more attention to design and skipped on simple features. The worst thing on this phone is unavailability of bluetooth file transfer feature with other phones. The phone cannot connect to your PC as a USB storage device. Without these basic features it doesn't make sense going for anything advanced that Nokia Lumia 800 has to offer. IT IS LIKE HAVING A GREAT TOOTHPASTE AT HAND WITHOUT A TOOTHBRUSH! 13 March, 2012
This is an excellent products with great features. I own this product it is superb but the only problem with it is the battery life which is really worse :( 17 January, 2012
A depressed User of Lumia 800 NOKIA LUMIA 800. The worst and the dumbest phone ever invented by any cell phone manufacturer. You buy once and after a few days it is not less than a useless scrap for you. I bought this phone for INR 28,300 and anyhow managed to get rid of it by selling it for INR 18,000 after using this phone for around two weeks. Thumbs up to Nokia for loosing their image within the market and their regular customers like me who has been using only Nokia for last 12-13 years from Nokia 5110 to E 90. Even I have used N 93 which was my first bad experience with Nokia but that experience wiped out when I got E 90. But now I feel compelled to switch over to a real smart phone of another brand which is really user friendly. The effort that Nokia has put in the extensive advertisement, even 10% of it would have been invested in the real product, the results would have been far better. The company should develop the product with the customers perspective instead of taking advantage of its Brand Value. Its the customers who have made Nokia what it is and if we can make a brand, we can break a brand. Will Nokia ever launch a really great, smart and user friendly phone to get back a disappointed customer like me??? I wish Nokia can win back my lost trust. God bless!!!! 2 February, 2012
Good , Diagnostic software needs correction in battery status Nice phone, Windows is a good change. Internet connection is a must either wi fi or thro mobile. Refreshing, battery is not a issue. Battery status software is the trouble. Does not last 2 days . 1 day is the best , it would need daily charging. 17 January, 2012

Don't go anywhere near the Lumia 800 The battery is most disappointing. Does not last half a day, even it is just for calls. Unable use other features in fear of the miserable battery performance. Cannot set speed dial. 14 January, 2012
