To see WLAN MAC address of your phone, follow the steps below:

  1. Go to Menu > Settings > Connectivity.
    • Asha 306 and 311: Select Wi-Fi, and then long tap one of the available WLANs, and select Details.
    • Other touch screen models: Select WLAN > Available WLANs, and then long tap one of the available WLANs, and select Details.
    • Non-touch screen models: Select WLAN > Available WLANs > Options > Details.
  2. In the details screen you will see the MAC address as 12 characters.

  • Try to calibrate the touch screen if it feels inaccurate. To calibrate the touch screen, tap the Menu icon and select Settings > Phone > Touch settings > Screen calibration, and follow the instructions on the screen.
  • If it does not help. reset factory settings. Backup your phone before doing so.
  • If it does not help, try to update with the latest available sw for your phone.
  • If it does not help, visit the Nokia Care Point in your area. For contact information, go to your local Nokia support page.

How do I start using Mail for Exchange on my Nokia S40 phone? - Nokia FAQ

When you start Mail for Exchange for the first time, you are prompted to do the following:

  • Give your Exchange mail address, domain, username, and password. The app fetches your MS Exchange server name based on the data you gave. If this fails, you are prompted to give also your server name.
  • Select your time zone
  • Define which Exchange items you want to sync. Note that you can later change the items to be synced (Options > Settings > Sync Options).
  • Depending on your mail server security policy, you may be asked to define a lock password for Mail for Exchange

If you defined the Exchange items to be synced, the first sync will be done. 

To ensure that Mail for Exchange suits your needs, you should consider the following:

  • Defining a lock code and a period after which the application is locked if it hasn’t been used (Options > Settings > Security)
  • Adjusting the period from which messages are retrieved (Options Settings > Email)
  • Defining whether the messages you send are saved (Options Settings > Email)
  • Adjusting how often sync is done on the days and time you define as a peak time, on off-peak time, and when you are roaming (Options > Settings > Schedule)
  • Selecting more folders to be synced in addition to the default Inbox and Outbox folders (OptionsManage Subscribed Folders)

To personalise your Mail for Exchange, you can do the following:

  • Define your Inbox layout (Options > Settings > Email)
  • Create a signature  (Options Settings > Email)
  • Enable or disable Rich Text format  (Options Settings > Email)

What does the indicator 1 or 2 on my call display mean? - Nokia FAQ

The number indicates the active phone line. This indicator is shown only if the SIM card supports two subscriber numbers, that is, two phone lines.

Press and hold # to select Line 1 or Line 2 for making calls and sending text messages, you see a prompt Change the phone line if you have subscribed to this service. When the first line is selected, indicator 1 is shown in the standby mode.

When you remove the SIM card, the number indicator disappears from the display.

You can download Mail for Exchange from Nokia Store.

Go to the Store app on your phone, and search for Exchange or Mail for Exchange.

Note: Mail for Exchange app is available via a preload application Launcher for Nokia 301 and Nokia 301 Dual SIM phones.
