Try easy fixes

If you are thinking of sending your phone for repair, check these easy steps first. They may fix the issue and save your time and effort.


easyfix1 Easy fix 1: Restart your phone

Press and hold the power key for at least 8 seconds. The phone switches off. To switch your phone on again, press and hold the power key until the phone vibrates.






easyfix2 Easy fix 2 : Charge your phone

Make sure you use a compatible USB charger to charge your phone.
First connect the USB cable to the charger, plug the charger into a wall outlet, then connect the micro-USB end of the USB cable to your phone.
When the battery is full, unplug the charger from the phone, then from the wall outlet.



easyfix3 Easy fix 3: Restore to factory settings

Before you restore your phone to factory settings, we recommend you to back up your contacts and other personal content.  
Select: Settings > Reset > Restore settings. 
If prompted, enter the security code.  After restoring the original settings, the phone switches off and then on again.

Software update

  1. Your phone notifies you in the Events view whenever updates are available for your phone software or for individual apps. To view and to install the updates, just tap the notification message, and follow the instructions shown on your phone. You can install the update immediately, or postpone the update for a more convenient time. It is recommended that you create a backup before the update.
  2. The update should take around 15-30 minutes, and you are not able to use your phone during the update installation.
  3. Update success! Now you can use your phone and enjoy the new features and enhanced experience.
