Nokia N96 memory structure is fixed and consists of the following drives:
- C: Phone memory
- E: Mass memory (16GB internal flash memory)
- F: Memory card (optional MicroSD memory card, up to 24GB)
The internal flash memory cannot be divided into separate drives (only the pre-defined C:, E: and F: are available) but the users can create their own folders on the N96 drives. The folders can be created in File Manager application with the following command:
- Options > Organize > New folder
