FAQ - How do I use the automatic keyguard on my Nokia phone (S40)?

You can set the keypad of your device to lock automatically after a preset time delay.

1. Select Menu > Settings > Phone (or Phone settings or Device) > Automatic keyguard > On or Off.
2. If you select On, Set delay: is displayed.
3. Enter the delay time (in mm:ss format), and select OK.

To lock the keys manually in the home screen, press the left selection key and *.

To unlock the keys, press the left selection key and *.

When keyguard is on, it may be possible to dial the emergency number programmed into your device.
