Learn how to start using your phone.

Keys and parts

On the front of the phone is the touch screen. Above the screen is the earpiece. Below the screen is, from left to right, the call key, the messaging key, and the combined end and power key. Below them is the keypad. With the front of the phone facing you, on the top edge is, from left to right, the micro-USB connector, the charger connector, and the Nokia AV connector. On the right edge is, from top to bottom, the volume up key, the volume down key, and the key lock button. On the left edge is, from top to bottom, the wrist strap hole and the gap for opening the back cover. With the back of the phone facing you, at the top left is the camera. At the bottom left is the loudspeaker.

  • 14 — Wrist strap hole

  • 15 — Back cover release gap

  • 16 — Loudspeaker

If there is protective tape on the screen or camera lens, remove the tape.
