Insert a second SIM card

Have a second SIM card, but want to keep using your main SIM card? You can insert or remove a second SIM card without switching the phone off.

With the back of the phone facing up, and the bottom edge facing you, the external SIM card slot is on the right edge of the phone. Place your fingernail in the recess at the edge of the cover of the SIM card slot that is closer to the top edge of the phone, carefully pull the cover slightly away from the phone, and rotate the cover at least 90 degrees. When inserting the SIM card, make sure the end with the missing corner goes in first and that the contact area is facing the front of the phone.

  1. Open the cover of the external SIM card slot, marked with SIM2 icon.

  2. Make sure the contact area of the card is facing up, and insert the SIM card. Push the card in, until it locks into place. Close the cover.

Remove the second SIM card
Open the cover of the SIM card slot, and push the SIM card in, until it is released. Pull the card out.
