FAQ - How do I change my from name on outgoing emails I send from Nokia Messaging?

The following instructions do not apply to Windows Live Hotmail email accounts.

On the Nokia E75 device (and other including built-in email client), perform the following steps:

  • Press the Menu key.
  • Select Email.
  • Select Settings.
  • Select the desired mailbox.
  • Select Mailbox settings.
  • Select My name.
  • Type in the desired name.
  • Press OK.

On all other S60 Nokia devices, perform the following steps:

  • Start the Email application.
  • Select Settings.
  • Select the desired mailbox.
  • Select My name.
  • Type in the desired name.
  • Press OK.

On the web, perform the following steps:

  • On a computer, open a web browser and go to: https://email.nokia.com/account/login.action.
  • Type in the User name and password.
  • Select Log in.
  • Select Edit Settings next to the desired mailbox.
  • In the field underneath My name, type the desired name.
  • Select Save changes.

Note: You may have issues using Chrome when accessing to the Nokia Messaging web site. We recommend using another browser instead.
