Troubleshooting for Nokia products

The main idea of instant messaging is that messages appear to the recipient automatically, very soon after being sent.  No polling is necessary.

This issue is happening because the user configured their Gmail email address on their Nokia Messaging account while the Starred label was disabled within Labels in their Gmail web account.  Perform the following steps to resolve this issue:

1. Have the user log into their Gmail web account on http://gmail.com.
2. Select Settings.
3. Select Labels.
4. Next to the Starred label, enable the Show in IMAP setting.
5. Have the user log into their Nokia Messaging account on http://email.nokia.com.
6. Select Edit settings next to the affected Gmail account.
7. Under Mail folders to sync, disable the Starred folder.
8. Select Save changes.
9. In Labels within the user's Gmail web account, disable the Show in IMAP setting next to the Starred label.
10. Perform a synchronization on the Nokia device to confirm resolution.
