As Executive Vice President and General Manager, Enterprise Solutions, Mary McDowell oversees the complete line of Nokia enterprise products and solutions, including its mobile business device range, security and mobile connectivity solutions.

Prior to joining Nokia in 2004, Mary was senior vice president of Strategy and Corporate Development at Hewlett Packard in charge of HP's business portfolio, overseeing all corporate development activities across HP.

Mary’s 17-years with HP-Compaq included five years as Senior Vice President and General Manager of Industry-Standard Servers, a $7 billion business and the world's largest server franchise. She also had worldwide P&L responsibility for HP's ProLiant server business, which for over a decade was the #1 competitor in that market.

Nokia has announced a planned new company structure to take effect January 1, 2008. Mary will hold the position of Chief Development Officer in the new organization, heading up the team to bring together the best of devices, software and services to give mobile subscribers the most innovative capabilities available.

Among her many credentials, Mary was named one of the Top 20 Women in Technology in Houston in 2000. She holds a bachelor's degree in computer science from the University of Illinois.
