Discovering Cindy Gomez is like discovering a diamond, not in the rough, but already finely cut and polished –ready for the lights -ready to dazzle.

Cindy was born in Toronto, Canada to her Colombian mother and Colombian Belgian father. Music embraced her from the time she was born and blessed her with a family that viewed music as nutritional and life sustaining –music was always playing in the family home. In her formative years music took hold and began to shape her life -it seeped into her soul and it honed her emotions –music became her fashion, she wore it with a violin and later with her voice.

"My house always had music playing whether it was classical (which was my favourite for many years -I pride myself that in elementaryschool I was different because that was my favourite kind of music) or plenty of Latin music -mariachi, cumbia, vallenatos, salsa andmeringue." Her big break came when Mike Bradford (Dave Stewart’s bass player and musical director) called her and asked her to fly down to LosAngeles and perform with Dave on Larry King Live (CNN). While performing live with Dave Stewart and his Rock Fabulous Orchestra, Davealso had her singing the lead role in the writing sessions for the musical “Ghost”which he is writing for Broadway along with partner GlenBallard. Glen, who has sold 300 million albums and produced everyone from Gwen Stefani, Pink to Alanis Morrisette, flipped over Cindy’svoice and is now working with Dave producing Cindy’s upcoming album. Cindy is a born performer who can sing in eightlanguagesincluding Hindi and Cantonese !

She can dance, act and is blessed with amazing stage presence (Miss Latin America Canada, best newperformer on Mexican television). Since working with Dave Stewart she has sung with artists like Mick Jaggerand Macy Gray, performed on numerous national TV networks in theUSA and has most recently been workingon the soundtracks for two major motion pictures. Cindy’s star is rising and she looks forward to meeting new friends onher musical journey!!
