Philipp Schloter

Head of Business Program and General Manager – Nokia Point & Find Corporate Business Development, Nokia

Philipp Schloter is the general manager for the Nokia Point & Find business program with teams in London, San Francisco and Oulu, Finland.

Philipp leads a growth business for Nokia focusing on connecting the world around us with digital content and information. As a first beta service out of the unit, Nokia Point & Find enables people on the move to access relevant content on the internet, simply by pointing a camera phone at real-world objects. The sales & business development group within the unit is closely working with agencies, brand advertisers, content providers, entertainment properties, out-of-home media networks and select venues. The team offers clients the opportunity to provide their own experiences, connecting real-world objects to their content. New capabilities are offering our clients to connect with consumers in new, quantifiable ways no matter where they are.

Previously, Philipp was Chief Executive Officer of PIXTO, which he successfully sold to Nokia. Prior, Philipp was a Senior Consultant and later Head of Product & Service Innovation at the Silicon Valley office of Deutsche Telekom’s management consulting arm. He built up a new strategy consulting group, and successfully established a cross-divisional program to source, evaluate and transfer new products and services across North America, Israel and Asia. Prior, Philipp was a worldwide product manager at Microsoft and co-founded an out-of-home advertising company.

Philipp holds a BA in Economics, BS in Computer Science and MS in Electrical Engineering all from Stanford University.
