Pasi Kemppainen heads Nokia Authentication Solution business initiative in Nokia Corporate Business Development for helping enterprises and, ultimately, consumers to authenticate product counterfeits using mobile technologies.

Pasi joined Nokia in 2003 and has been instrumental in incubating high profile new business initiatives such as .mobi internet domain, Wibree wireless technology and mobile advertising.

Before joining Nokia, Pasi worked for TeliaSonera Finland as Development Director for the corporate R&D unit. During 2000-2002 he served as the CEO for a telecom-internet convergence startup Intellitel Communications Ltd. that was acquired during his post by TeliaSonera Corporation.

He holds a MSc degree in telecommunications and international marketing. During his tenure as the CEO of Intellitel Communications, the largest business magazine in Finland, Kauppalehti Optio magazine, nominated Pasi to the top 100 Finnish IT entrepreneurs.
