The reason could be that you have hidden or disabled folders using the Advanced IMAP Controls options in Google Apps.
To fix this in the Nokia Messaging service:
- Browse to http://email.nokia.com (but don’t use chrome as it has issues with the website).
- Login with your Nokia Messaging User ID and the password.
- Select Edit settings on the problematic email address.
- In the Mail folders to sync uncheck subfolder, which is not checked on the Google Apps.
- Select Save changes.
