Connect your phone to your home theatre
You can use your phone with home theatre systems. With compatible home theatres, you can enjoy HD videos with Dolby Digital Plus 5.1 multichannel audio for an immersive surround sound experience.
Connect the HDMI adapter to the HDMI connector of your phone.
Connect an HDMI cable (available separately) to the adapter, and then to the HDMI connector of your home theatre.
The home theatre needs to support the HDMI 1.3 standard and be able to pass through video to your TV over HDMI. Your phone decodes Dolby Digital Plus, and outputs PCM audio to your home theatre.
To set the home theatre to use the respective HDMI input, see the user instructions of your home theatre.
Play a video on your phone.
The maximum supported video resolution is 1280x720 (720p), and your phone does not support files that are larger than 4 GB.
