You can use a paperclip as a tool.
Select Menu > Ctrl. panel > Settings > General > Personalisation > Standby mode > Key shortcuts > Left selection key and Right selection key.
Applies for Nokia E72 and Nokia E73 Mode:
Select Menu > Ctrl. panel > Settings > General > Personalisation > Optical Navi key > Sensitivity > High, Medium or Low.
The side key (camera key, lock key or volume key) could get stuck under the back cover. Remove the cover and push the side key from inside of the cover to outside to make sure it is in the right position. Put the cover back and try again. Be careful that you do not touch the side keys when placing the cover on the phone.
If the touch screen calibration is interrupted by pressing Call key or End key, the applied settings may cause instability when using the touch screen or the Call and End keys. In such situation, the calibration should be done again.
Select Menu > Ctrl. panel > Settings > General > Personalization > Notification lights.
When you miss a call or receive a message, the scroll key starts blinking to indicate the event. To set the blinking time and which events you want to be notified, select Notification light.
When you do not use the device for a certain period of time, the scroll key starts blinking slowly as if it was breathing. To turn the breathing light on or off, select Standby br.light > Breathing light.
Nokia E5-00 device has not a separate camera key. Start the camera application and press Navi key to take a picture.
In the lock screen, press the lock key, then the phone screen lights. Now you can swipe the screen left or right to unlock the phone, and then press the lock key to lock it again. You can also wait a short while for the phone to lock automatically.
It is a shortcut for the speaking clock (or the talking clock). A long press of the asterisk (*) key activates the speaking clock.
