Your privacy in Nokia Store
Nokia’s privacy policy explains how we process your personal data when you use our products and services. In addition, the following information applies to your use of Nokia Store (the “Service”).
The Service contains content provided by both Nokia and third-party publishers. The content provided by third-party publishers often has a privacy policy of its own. We recommend you familiarise yourself with the privacy policies of these third party publishers. Nokia is not responsible for the privacy or any other practices of such content providers.
What information do we collect?
We collect the following categories of information:
Registration and contact details
You need to have a Nokia account in order to download or purchase any content from the Service. You may continue to browse the available content in the Service without an account.
Technical information
When you use the Service, certain technical information such as the model of your mobile device, unique device or network service provider identifiers, Internet protocol address, time zone, technical details of your client, as well as your transactions with Nokia may be automatically collected by Nokia.
Credit or debit card details
If you choose to make a purchase via credit or debit card, you must provide Nokia with your card details. Card details are not associated to your Nokia account unless you so choose, in which case the card details are stored by a reputable payment provider and tied to your Nokia account so you can easily conduct further transactions using the same Nokia account without having to re-enter all your information.
Your transactions
We may also record your transactions with us such as your registration to the Service and your purchase and download activities conducted within the Service. For example, we may record the date and time of your download, the product you downloaded, the payment amount and payment method (if applicable), and your receipt email address (if you provided it to Nokia). We may also record any comments, ratings or reviews that you provided for any content. In case you made your purchase via operator billing, we may also collect your mobile phone number.
How we use the information we have collected?
Provision of the Services
As explained in more detail in our privacy policy, the information collected by the Service is utilised to provide you with the Service, to develop our products and services as well as to communicate with you and to make recommendations.
This includes activities such as determining the compatibility of and applicable content for your mobile device, managing applicable licenses, enabling you to download and re-install the same content to the same handset, in case you happened to delete or uninstall content, which you previously bought or downloaded and rendering content specifically tailored for your network operator, showing you your download history and verifying your identity and processing payments.
The Service allows you to modify and delete your download history.
