Insert the SIM card

Important:

This device is designed to be used with a standard SIM card (see figure) only. Use of incompatible SIM cards may damage the card or the device, and may corrupt data stored on the card. Please consult your mobile operator for the use of a SIM card that has a mini-UICC cutout.

A standard SIM card.

Do not attach any stickers to your SIM card.

  1. Slide the back cover open, and remove it.

    With the back of the phone facing you, press the middle of the back cover.

  2. Remove the battery.

    When removing the battery, lift the side of the battery that is closer to the bottom edge of the phone.

  3. To unlock the SIM card holder, slide it.

    The SIM card holder is under the battery, in the middle. Slide the holder towards the right edge of the phone.

  4. Lift the SIM card holder, and insert the SIM card. Make sure the contact area of the card would face down when the SIM card holder is lowered.

    Lift the holder from the edge that is closer to the left edge of the phone. When inserting the SIM card, make sure that when the holder is lowered, the missing corner would be closer to the top right corner of the phone.

  5. Lower the SIM card holder. To lock the SIM card holder, slide it.

    To lock the holder, slide it towards the left edge of the phone.

  6. Replace the battery and back cover.
