If User Account Control (UAC) in your Windows Vista® computer is set on, that may prevent the registration. If registration fails, turn off UAC from Start > Control Panel > User Accounts > Turn User Account Control on of off and clear the Use User Account Control (UAC) to help protect your computer check box, and then click OK. Then click Restart Now to apply the change right away. After computer has restarted try registration again. Once Nokia Music registration is successfully done turn on UAC as it is not recommended to leave UAC disabled.
If you are a Nokia Music Unlimited user, you can also use Nokia Suite to download music. If you are downloading mp3's, these can be obtained through a web browser. However, for the complete Nokia Music experience, a full install of Nokia Music Player is required.

To transfer music that you have downloaded in the Nokia Music store using your Nokia Music Unlimited account use the steps below:
This may occur if the system cannot find the specified path when saving the downloaded track to your collection.
To resolve this, make sure the My Music folder is on your local hard drive of the PC being used.
To check this:
1. Open Nokia Music player.
2. Press F4 on your keyboard.
3. Select Collection.
4. To change the location of the My Music folder, select Change. This folder must be located on the hard drive of the computer and not at a remote location for example, in network server.
