   SyncML

The Nokia 6230 phone supports SyncML synchronization service.

SyncML is a network service that allows you to save your calendar and contacts data in a remote Internet server or in a compatible PC. If you have saved data in the remote Internet server, you can synchronize your phone by starting the synchronization from your phone. Synchronizing to the remote server is a network service.

You can also synchronize the data in your phone’s contacts and calendar to correspond with the data of your compatible PC by starting the synchronization from your PC. The contact data in your SIM card will not be synchronized.

Note that answering an incoming call during synchronization will end the synchronization and you will need to re-start it.
