Watching streaming video broadcasts is a natural part of the mobile
browsing experience with the Nokia 6230 phone. To open a video
stream, just select its link while you are browsing on the service
site. The media player of the Nokia 6230 phone will show the video
stream for you.
Unlike video clips, video streams are not permanently stored in
the memory of your phone. This allows you to watch video broadcasts
of unlimited length. In short, streaming video broadcasts make
the Nokia 6230 phone like a mini mobile TV-set.
For more information on streaming video, see the corresponding
What’s New? and Technologies pages
in the Getting Started section.
To learn the basics of mobile browsing, see the Basic
Browsing page.
NOTE: To watch streaming video broadcasts, the service settings
for the phone must be received from your network operator and then
activated. Contact your network operator for information about
the streaming settings. You can also get the settings from the
Nokia web site’s Operator
Settings page.
