Before you install Nokia PC Suite, check the following list:

• Admin rights
  You need admin rights to install software in Windows 2000 and Windows XP. This is a Windows feature.
  
• IrCOMM update
  IrDA modem is installed plug and play in Windows ME, Windows 2000 and Windows XP. Windows 2000 needs an update (IrCOMM hot fix) for automatic modem installation. Installation will show a message only if the hot fix is not installed. The path to the web page is shown.
  
• Windows update
  The IrCOMM hot fix is needed in Windows 2000 Service Pack 1. If you have Service Pack 3 or newer installed, IrCOMM is included. The IrCOMM update patch for Windows 2000 is downloadable on the Microsoft web site.
  
• Only one PC Suite 5.x can be installed on the same machine
