First, make sure you have saved the correct synchronization connection settings to your Nokia 6800 messaging device. You may have to activate them before starting the connection. The settings also specify whether the data to be synchronized is in contacts, the calendar, or both.

Press Menu, then select Extras, Synchronize, and Synchronize, and confirm the action. The data marked in the settings will then be synchronized.

If this is the first time you have synchronized the data or if the contacts or calendar are full, this process may take up to 30 minutes.
