Remove the back cover

Learn how to remove the back cover of your phone.

Note:

Switch the device off and disconnect the charger and any other device before removing any covers. Avoid touching electronic components while changing any covers. Always store and use the device with any covers attached.

Do not use any tools to open the back cover.

  1. At a top corner of the phone, put your thumbnail in the seam between the screen frame and the back cover. Bend the cover until a side seam opens slightly.

  2. Repeat on the other corner, and remove the cover.

    With the front of the phone facing you, first place your thumbnail on the top right corner of the phone to open the cover slightly. Then move your thumbnail to the top left corner of the phone to open the cover fully.
Replace the back cover

Press the bottom edge of the back cover against the bottom edge of the phone. Then press the back of the cover until it snaps into place.

First replace the bottom edge of the cover, then the top edge.
