Learn how to start using your phone.

Keys and parts

Items are listed from left to right or top to bottom. On front of phone: touch screen. Above screen: front camera, earpiece. Below screen: back key, combined start and home key, search key. With front of phone facing you, on top edge: connector for headphones and loudspeakers, second microphone, micro-USB connector, SIM card holder. On right edge: combined volume and zoom keys, combined power key and key lock button, camera key.

  • 1 — Connector for headphones and loudspeakers (3.5 mm)

  • 2 — Second microphone

  • 3 — Micro-USB connector. Also used to charge the battery.

  • 4 — SIM card holder

  • 5 — Volume keys

  • 6 — Power key/Key lock button

  • 7 — Camera key

  • 8 — Search key

  • 9 — Start/Home key

  • 10 — Back key

  • 11 — Front camera

  • 12 — Earpiece

Items are listed from left to right. With back of phone facing you, at top: camera flash, camera lens. On bottom edge: loudspeaker, microphone.
