Nokia Networks announces new Customer Operations structure

Regional structure with 7 markets Espoo, Finland – 19 March 2015 Marking an important milestone in Nokia’s transformation journey, Nokia Networks, the company’s network infrastructure business, has firmed up its plans to create a new Customer Operations (CO) structure effective April 1, 2015. The revamped set-up is in line with the organization’s vision to have greater simplicity, transparency and stronger platforms for growth. This initiative is targeted at enabling further growth in Nokia’s Networks business, creating stronger relationships and support for its customers, as well as a central, repeatable and agile operating mode to address software, portfolio and partner sales priorities. It is tightly integrated with the Mobile Broadband and Global Services business units and lays the foundation for new growth areas, go-to-market approaches, channels and leadership. The new CO structure includes a revisited regional structure of seven markets, each having its own leader who reports to Ashish Chowdhary, Executive Vice President and Chief Business Officer, Nokia Networks. The markets heads in the new Customer Operations structure effective April 1, 2015 are:   Ricky Corker – North America Dimitri Diliani – Latin America Markus Borchert – Europe Sandeep Girotra – India Paul Tyler – Asia-Pacific & Japan Mike Wang – Greater China Bernard Najm – Middle East & Africa With these changes, Nokia Networks will take a major step forward in its evolution as a company, with a single-minded focus on creating and delivering value to its customers that increasingly have global operations. Most importantly, the new CO structure is a reiteration of the company’s commitment to continually align its vision and perspective with both future opportunities and challenges.
