The Nokia Virtualized Service Router (VSR) is a highly flexible virtualized IP router architected and optimized for x86 server deployment in telecommunications providers, AI and cloud providers, and mission-critical enterprise network environments. Based on the Nokia Service Router Operating System (SR OS), the VSR delivers a wide range of IP routing and network applications and is deployable as a virtual network function (VNF) or container network function (CNF).
