The Nokia Beacon 1.1 extends the whole home WiFi experience for broadband subscribers. It supports 2x2 MIMO on both the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands, with maximum theoretical speeds of 300 Mbps and 867 Mbps, respectively. When no dedicated gateway is in the network, this Beacon will take the role of a wireless router with access to the broadband network.
