Having previously held the position of Senior Vice President and General Manager at the IP Routing & Packet Core business unit, Sri was appointed co-President and member of Nokia Group Leadership Team as of May 15, 2018. Sri joined Nokia in 2016 from Alcatel-Lucent.
As a co-President of IP/Optical Networks, Sri is responsible for driving innovation and diversification across the IP, Optical, Video and Cloud/Data Center technology business.
Sri holds a Bachelors of Electrical Engineering degree from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, a Masters of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from Oregon State University, and a Masters of Business Administration from Santa Clara University.
Over a three-decade career, Sri has established himself as a technology innovator who is intensely competitive and passionate about building strong, winning teams. Since co-founding Silicon Valley start-up Timetra in 2000, he has built the IP routing team and expanded the business from a single router to an end-to-end portfolio that today holds the #2 position in service provider IP/MPLS routing with more than 1000 customers in 120+ countries.
Sri works with many start-ups as a business and technology mentor, nurturing smart engineers developing complex products.
