This case study captures the case of NL-ix, the Netherlands, as it grows its internet exchange point (IXP) services and places a special emphasis on protecting its customers against new generations of DDoS attacks with the Nokia DDoS security solution. NL-ix, one of the leading European IXP providers, has a portfolio covering over 100 datacenters in Europe. It uses Nokia’s network security technology to protect its infrastructure and customers in the Netherlands and globally against large-scale DDoS attacks. Nokia Deepfield Defender and 7750 SR routers have been deployed across NL-ix's network to provide automated, premium DDoS protection to NL-ix's customers, who can rely on fast network-based mitigation of all types of DDoS, including the most complex and high-volume cyberattacks and AI-driven threats.
