โนเกียแต่งตั้งกรรมการผู้จัดการ โนเกีย ประเทศไทย

กรุงเทพฯ 23 มกราคม 2556: โนเกียประกาศแต่งตั้ง นายญาณธน  สิมะวานิชกุล ดำรงตำแหน่งกรรมการผู้จัดการ
บริษัท โนเกีย (ประเทศไทย) จำกัด ตั้งแต่วันนี้เป็นต้นไป รับผิดชอบการดำเนินงานโดยรวมของโนเกีย ประเทศไทย สร้างการเติบโตและความสำเร็จ รักษาตำแหน่งผู้นำในประเทศไทย พร้อมขยายตลาดสมาร์ทโฟน

ก่อนที่จะได้รับตำแหน่งดังกล่าว นายญาณธน ดำรงตำแหน่งหัวหน้าฝ่ายขาย โนเกีย ประเทศไทย เป็นเวลา 5 ปี โดยรับผิดชอบการพัฒนา ผลการดำเนินงาน และกลยุทธ์ของช่องทางการขายในประเทศไทย โดยใช้ศักยภาพของช่องทางการขายเพื่อสร้างความได้เปรียบในการแข่งขัน และความสำเร็จอย่างต่อเนื่อง

 

นายญาณธน ร่วมงานกับโนเกียตั้งแต่ปี 2537 และเติบโตมาพร้อมกับบริษัท มีบทบาทสำคัญทั้งในธุรกิจโทรศัพท์มือถือ และธุรกิจโครงข่ายสื่อสารของโนเกีย  โดยดำรงตำแหน่งสำคัญๆได้แก่ ผู้จัดการด้านบริหารงานลูกค้า ผู้จัดการฝ่ายขาย จนกระทั่งถึงตำแหน่งหัวหน้าฝ่ายขายตามลำดับ

นายญาณธน  สิมะวานิชกุล กรรมการผู้จัดการ  โนเกีย (ประเทศไทย) จำกัดกล่าวว่า “ด้วยทีมงานคนไทยที่เปี่ยมศักยภาพและผลิตภัณฑ์ที่น่าสนใจ ผมมั่นใจว่า เราจะรักษาความสำเร็จ และเสริมสร้างความเป็นผู้นำทั้งในตลาดโทรศัพท์มือถือ และสมาร์ทโฟนได้ตามกลยุทธ์หลักที่โนเกียวางไว้” พร้อมเสริมว่า “ผมตั้งใจจะนำประสบการณ์ ความรู้และความเข้าใจเกี่ยวกับตลาดในเมืองไทยมาใช้เพื่อมอบประสบการณ์การสื่อสารไร้สายใหม่ๆ ที่สร้างสรรค์ให้กับผู้บริโภคชาวไทย และนำความสำเร็จมาให้กับพันธมิตร

นายญาณธนสำเร็จการศึกษาระดับปริญญาตรีด้านวิศวกรรมโทรคมนาคมจากสถาบันเทคโนโลยีพระจอมเกล้าเจ้าคุณทหารลาดกระบังในปี 2534 สำเร็จการศึกษาระดับปริญญาโท ด้านวิศวกรรมไฟฟ้าจากมหาวิทยาลัยเท็กซัส เมืองออสติน และปริญญาโทด้านบริหารธุรกิจจากมหาวิทยาลัยธรรมศาสตร์

นายญาณธน สิมะวานิชกุล ดำรงตำแหน่ง กรรมการผู้จัดการ บริษัท โนเกีย (ประเทศไทย) จำกัดเมื่อวันที่ 14 มกราคม พ.ศ. 2556 รับผิดชอบการดำเนินงานโดยรวมของโนเกียในประเทศไทย สร้างการเติบโตและความสำเร็จ รักษาความเป็นผู้นำตามกลยุทธ์ของโนเกียทั่วโลก
ก่อนที่จะได้รับตำแหน่งดังกล่าว นายญาณธน ดำรงตำแหน่งหัวหน้าฝ่ายขาย โนเกีย ประเทศไทย เป็นเวลา 5 ปี โดยรับผิดชอบการพัฒนา ผลการดำเนินงาน และกลยุทธ์ด้านช่องทางการขายในประเทศไทย เป็นผู้นำทีมขาย และดูแลกลยุทธ์ในช่องทางขายปลีก เพื่อมอบประสบการณ์การใช้งานตรงตามความต้องการของผู้บริโภค

ก่อนหน้านี้ เขาดำรงตำแหน่งผู้จัดการฝ่ายขาย โนเกีย ประเทศไทย รับผิดชอบการวางกลยุทธ์ด้านการขาย เป็นผู้นำทีม และสร้างความสัมพันธ์อันดีกับผู้กระจายสินค้า ตัวแทนจำหน่าย และผู้ให้บริการเครือข่าย

นายญาณธนเริ่มทำงานกับโนเกียครั้งแรกเมื่อปี 2537 ในธุรกิจโครงข่ายสื่อสารและได้เติบโตพร้อมมีบทบาทสำคัญ
ทั้งในธุรกิจโครงข่ายสื่อสารและธุรกิจโทรศัพท์มือถือของโนเกีย ประเทศไทย ดำรงตำแหน่ง ผู้จัดการด้านบริหารงานลูกค้า ผู้จัดการฝ่ายขาย และหัวหน้าฝ่ายขายตามลำดับ

นายญาณธนสำเร็จการศึกษาระดับปริญญาตรีด้านวิศวกรรมโทรคมนาคมจากสถาบันเทคโนโลยีพระจอมเกล้าเจ้าคุณทหารลาดกระบังในปี 2534 สำเร็จการศึกษาระดับปริญญาโท ด้านวิศวกรรมไฟฟ้าจากมหาวิทยาลัยเท็กซัส เมืองออสติน และสำเร็จการศึกษาระดับปริญญาโท ด้านบริหารธุรกิจจากมหาวิทยาลัยธรรมศาสตร์

Bangkok, 23 January 2013: Nokia today announced appointment of Mr. Yantana Simavanichkul as the new Managing Director for Nokia (Thailand) Ltd. In this position, he is responsible for Nokia’s overall operations in Thailand, ensuring the company’s growth and success, maintaining its leadership in Thailand and enhances its position in smartphone market.

Prior to this position, Mr. Simavanichkul spent 5 years as Head of Sales, Nokia Thailand. He oversaw channel development, performance and strategies, optimizing all sales channels to deliver sustainable competitive advantage and continuous success.

Mr. Simavanichkul has been with Nokia Thailand since 1994 and has grown together with the company.He has played different important roles in Nokia’s mobile phone and network businesses. During his 19 years in Nokia, Mr. Simavanichkul has been promoted to Account Manager, Sales Manager, and Head of Sales respectively.

Mr. Simavanichkul graduated in Telecommunications Engineering from King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology, Ladkrabang in 1991and holds a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from University of Texas at Austin and a Master’s degree of Business Administration from Thammasat University.

Yantana Simavanichkul was appointed as Managing Director, Nokia (Thailand) Ltd. on January 14, 2013. In this position, he is responsible for Nokia’s overall operations in Thailand, ensuring the company’s growth and success as well as maintaining its leadership according to Nokia’s global strategies.

Before being appointed in this position, Mr. Simavanichkul spent 5 years as Head of Sales, Nokia Thailand. He oversaw channels and operators’ developments, performances and strategies, led sales team, and ensured successful retail implementation to deliver desired consumer experience.

Prior to this, he was Sales Manager, Nokia Thailand, responsible for driving country sales strategy, leading the sales team, build and maintains relationship with distributors, retailers, and operators.

Mr. Simavanichkul joined Nokia Thailand in1994 in network business. He has played different important roles in Nokia’s mobile phone and network businesses including Account Manager, Sales Manager and Head of Sales respectively.

Mr. Simavanichkul holds a Bachelor Degree in Telecommunications Engineering from King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology, Ladkrabang, a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from University of Texas at Austin, and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Thammasat University.
