Architecture of the Remote Intergrated Services Line Unit (RISLU)

The 5ESS(R) Switch Remote Integrated Services Line Unit (RISLU) is a remote vehicle which provides analog and digital terminations for a maximum of 512 lines, with per-line digital concentration and "BORSCHT" functions. The RISLU provides a wider range of concentration ratios than present remote vehicles such as the Remote Switching Module(RSM).
