ARTHUR: A Generalized Model Parameter Extractor

We describe a model-independent parameter extraction system named arthur. arthur casts the parameter extraction task into a nonlinear least-squares minimization problem, and has an associated powerful interface tool that eases its application to arbitrary models. arthur has been used to extract parameters for a variety of device models, including GaAs, MOS and Bipolar models, from measurements of current/voltage, capacitance/voltage and S-parameters. We will describe the implementation of arthur, and present three complete examples.
