AT&T Network Architecture Network Services Complex

This talk presents the issues involved in adding a new component, the Network Services Complex (NSC), to the AT&T Switched (ASN)> The role of the NSC and how it integrates with the ASN is presented. Different NSC architecture are examined along with design rules for deciding on the most cost-effective architecture. The talk explores issues in handling failures of NSCs.
