12 August 1988
BUSINESS and STRUCTURE: The Library Network is an association of libraries and specialized information services organizations, representing most of AT&T's major technical and business information resources. Presently, the Library Network encompasses 54 libraries and specialized information services groups. Individual libraries and information services groups may participate in the Library Network as either an organizational "unit" managed directly by the Libraries and Information Systems Center of AT&T Bell Laboratories, or as a "member", reporting to the management of other organizations in AT&T.
