Beyond 200 Gbit/s/lambda: Experimental Evaluation of Polybinary and PAM Modulation Schemes for Intra-DCIs

We measure performance of a high symbol rate short-reach transmission system employing polybinary and PAM modulation formats as potential candidates for next-generation lane rate in IM/DD intra-DCIs. We measure the performance over 2 km link in a wide range of symbol rates and received optical powers.
