Chemical Considerations in Organometallic Vapor Phase Deposition of II-VI semiconductors

The deposition of II-VI semiconductor compounds using organometalic source materials has developed rapidly during the last few years. New source materials, UV and plasma enhancement, and an understanding of the thermodynamic issues underlying the growth of solid alloys and led to the successful growth of complex structures and new materials using this technique.
