Coherent Enhancement of the Hot Electron Mean Free Path by Superlattice Transmission Resonances.

We report a striking enhancement in the mean free path for hot electron transport above the energy barriers in a superlattice. This large increase in the well recapture time is a result of the coherent transmission resonances in the continuum states.
