Coherent optical OFDM based on direct modulation of injection-locked Fabry-Perot lasers

We demonstrate generation of coherent optical OFDM signals using direct modulation of two injection locked lasers. Comparable performance to a LiNbO3 IQ modulator is achieved after 230-km transmission with coherent reception and standard DSP.
