We have measured the anomalous Hall effect in amorphous Tb (x)Fe(1-x) films at room temperature and at 4.2 K over a broad composition range: 0.10.7. Both the normal resistivity, p, and the anomalous Hall resistivity, pH, vary smoothly with composition. The Hall ratio, pH/p decreases roughly linearly with x over this range, and is consistent with a very small contribution to the Hall scattering from the Tb subnetwork. The side-jump parameter delta(Proportional to)pH/p(2) is apparently piecewise linear in x, suggesting the influence of changes in the occupancy of the amorphous alloy energy bands.
