Computer Virus Protection Procedures

The proliferation and casual administration of personal computers has created a potential Achilles' heel in our computer operations. The DOS- based desk-top computer has been targeted as the entry point for unscrupulous software hackers who write self-replicating software that can infiltrate an entire computer network and potentially cause great harm. This document's procedures cannot prevent or protect a computer from all attacks in the future, but can serve as a guideline for safe computing in the current environment.
