Cross-Layer Simulations of Fast Packet Protection Mechanisms

Time-dependent inter-packet and intra-packet BER variations are implemented in the ns-2 network simulator to evaluate fast packet protection based on physical-layer monitoring through pre-FEC BER read-out.
