Decorrelating Partial Feedback Detectors for Asynchronous and Synchronous CDMA Channels

We study decision-feedback detection for Code-Division Multiple- Access (CDMA) channels. Since users energies can be dissimilar, a partial feedback method is proposed. This detector employs previous decisions of the stronger users when making decisions for the weaker ones. Provided that past decisions are correct, the detector "decorrelates" the users. i.e., removes all multiuser interference.
