Future indoor networks need to provide broadband services either by increasing bandwidth, higher order modulations and high spatial reuse. To this end, ultra-dense Wi-Fi networks need to be deployed. This work discuss design principles of ultra-dense gigabit Wi-Fi networks through proper bandwidth selection, adaptive CCAs. We present power control management suitable for ultra-dense deployments to avoid the interference coming from hidden nodes in neighbouring APs. We discuss the necessary requirements to utilize a very high spatial reuse of radio resources through adaptive self-optimizing algorithms.
