Deterministic Latency Networks for 5G Applications

5G applications require low and controlled latency. We believe that a network capable of delivering this deterministic performance must be slotted, scheduled, and synchronous. We discuss how 5G requirements are impacting network architecture, and outline the main candidates to enable deterministic latency networking.
